Since the last stunt movie there has been a lot of talk about how im creating these movies.
Therefore, to ease things up and help out other prospective movie makers out there, I decided
to compile an FAQ to help you all out. I hope it helps you! Have fun creating movies!
@+ What hardware do you use to create the movies? +@
I use a Sony DCR-PC120BT DV cam. The hardware I use to edit the movies is:
Asus A7V333R
AMD xp2100+ @ 1800
GF4 Ti4200 128mb @ 300/550
1 GB RAM (512x2 pc2700's)
160 GB (2x80 gb gxp HDs stripe raid) for work(audio/video)
120 GB gxp HD for OS
60 GB gxp HD external firewire

I use a cheap BUT very good editingsoftware called 'Vegas Video' made By 'Sonic Foundry'

@+ But how do you record the ingame footage?
Using my Sony DV cam I hook it up to the back of my GeForce 4 Ti4200 128mb graphics card.
Then connecting the SVideo out from computer to SVideo in on cam I recorded the footage I wanted.
After recording the stunts I dumped the scenes back into my computer through the firewire
connection on the computer and DV cam. Once the footage was on the computer I was able to edit it,
add the music and titles and, hey presto - a movie was created

Of course you can. Most people ask questions about the infamous TNT jumps. These are quite
easy to pull off actually, you just need to make sure a few things are enabled on the server.
If it's your server and you want to set it up for some stunting you need to put these commands
into the console. To get the console up you need to press the button to the left of the number '1'
When the console comes up, type these commands into the box:
admin.vehicleffratio 0
admin.soldierffratio 0
admin.vehicleffratioOnSplash 0
admin.soldierffratioOnSplash 0
This will allow you to do TNT jumps to your hearts content, and will enable you to do some
crazy stuff. See the 'Explosions' video if you need any inspiration.

The music on both the 'Explosions' video and 'Stunts' video is music I have produced.
The three songs in the 'Stunt' movie are:

At the end of the day it's just what pops into my heads, or the guys I am working with. You are
your own artist. Do what you want. Some things might look amazing, others might look crap. Be
original, and interesting and see what you come up with!
