Respect
All Northern Brigade members are expected to treat each other with proper respect at all times.
No cheating
Northern Brigade are not cheaters. Any Northern Brigade member found cheating will be terminated from the clan and permanently banned. This includes any type of game patch not released by DICE, OS/OpenGL patches specifically tailored for Battlefield or separate programs which changes the way the game looks or behaves.
No warez
Do what you will in your spare time, but when wearing the NB tag (in game, IRC or on forums) you will NOT use, promote or spread illegally obtained software.
Wearing the tag
When you are wearing the tag you are representing the clan. Any poor conduct on your behalf may be grounds for termination of your membership. Poor conduct includes foul language, taunts, excessive teamkilling etc.
Do not 'nameshare'. This means if brother/friend/wife want to play, they should use their own name or apply to become an Northern Brigade member themselves.
Active member
You should be an active member. If you remain inactive (not visiting boards etc) without prior notification for an excessive amount of time (30 days+), you will be contacted via email asking if you wish to remain a member.
Schedule
Signing up on the schedule is binding. Repeated failures to show up for games you have signed up for are grounds for dismissal.
Forums
All members are asked to check the clan site on a regular basis for updates and other information.
Never discuss Clan issues on a game server - use the closed forum.
Information posted on closed boards of www.northernbrigade.com are meant for Members Only. Respect this.
Memberships in other clans
Membership in other clans is allowed, if the other clan is not playing competitively in an arena where Northern Brigade has an active team or in the process of creating one. If there is any uncertainties or doubts the Council will have to approve the other clan membership.
Membership termination
Members lose their right to use the name nbrigade and/or northern brigade in any form when their membership in this group has been terminated.
Recruiting
Clan recruiting will be done by trials. If you have someone you think would be a good candidate for membership, contact a council member.
It's a game
All Northern Brigade members should remember that this is a game and the goal is to kick ass and have a good time doing it. |
