This has been the most intense official CAL match that Northern Brigade has ever played. With NB going into the match with a 3-0 record and =21= attacking with a 2-0 record this definately was a match for the history books. =21= chose Allied for the 1st round. NB prepared for the Allied advance and stopped =21= from attacking the temple flag on both of thier attempts using great teamwork and infantry/SA-7 work. =21= took the courtyard flag to stop thier ticket bleed and abandoned the temple after failed attempts. The match went back and forth for nearly 45 minutes. NB and =21= were in a 20 minute stalemate with the tickets on both sides 9-15 in favor of NB. The sound of the "game heart beat" rang for both teams as it went down to a hide-and-seek long range sniper/assault war. NB won at the end however with a 3-0 win as NVA
NB took a much needed 5 minute break to calm down after that intense match. NB took the Allied side and pused hard for the NVA temple flag which was taken on the first attempt. NB worked the map to gain a 20 ticket lead most of the game, pushing the NVA all around the map. Once Agent our F-4 pilot stole the NVA ZSU the huey gunships moved in to attack and pick off the NVA forces one by one. NB came out on top at the end holding three flag points and finishing the match with a 48-0 win.
Good Games =21= most fun we have had in a long time!
